GLOW 2020

The entire family is invited as we enjoy a morning together at Rivers-edge Park. We will have food trucks and many vendors in the parking lot and fields of Rivers-edge!

The Family Fun Run is a mile long and designed to help families jump in and enjoy exercise and the event all together.  There is no fee for this portion of the event, but we do ask that you consider making a donation or think about buying some additional GLOW gear! 

This part of our event is just as important as the one that happens in Roanoke.  In 2022, we had 750 virtual participants, several LARGE teams, and had members of our community represented from 41 different states!  

This part of the race raises thousands of dollars for the foundation each year, all the while building our community up by advocating all over the US and bonding us together!  Most of us live far from one another, only getting to know one another virtually, but through GLOW we get to participate in something all together, to benefit our loved ones who live with this rare disease.
